The bar brings its own charm. Designed as an open, L-shaped setup with sleek storage and dual seating, it effortlessly adapts to different needs—whether hosting conversations or doubling as a quiet spot to work. Both elements enhance the home’s narrative, offering layers of functionality and intimacy.
Every planter, every vase, and every curated frame in The Greendot whispers a story of intention. It is a home that feels alive—not because of grandeur, but because of the intimacy it nurtures between space, light, and the people who inhabit it.

Nestled in the serene landscapes of Japan, The Green Sanctum embodies warmth, simplicity, and a quiet sophistication that resonates through every detail. The home reflects a lived-in charm—where minimalism meets memory, and curated objects breathe life into each corner.
At its core, the space celebrates the beauty of restraint. Plush furniture, wooden finishes, and a subtle palette of deep blues form a calm foundation, while layers of personal narratives add depth. Every artifact, painting, and accessory has a story. Each of the furniture pieces were collected during the family’s travels and thoughtfully integrated into the design. This interplay of objects creates an atmosphere that is both eclectic and deeply personal.

Minimalist canvas, layered with living stories.

Light plays a defining role here. Expansive windows invite natural light to flood the interiors, shaping the mood across the day. Complementing this, carefully positioned lamps and serial lights create intimate pockets of warmth. Corners become destinations—anchored by tall lamps, framed with art, and softened by textures—turning transitional spaces into moments of pause.
The home’s character lies in its contrasts. A traditional console sits gracefully beneath an expressive Radhakrishna painting. Delicate dolls share space with modern minimal furniture. This unexpected dialogue between cultures lends the house a chic, cosmopolitan charm without overwhelming its simplicity.
Among its most distinctive features are the piano corner and the bar area. The piano, placed thoughtfully in the living room, serves as both a functional and symbolic centerpiece for the family’s love of music. Above it, an imaginative photo installation draws inspiration from piano keys, arranging black-and-white photographs in rhythmic patterns—a creative nod to melody and memory.
